Normally, I can't stand such blatant Mary-Sue type characters...especially when they rely on something as lame as copying everyone else' abilities. 
Still, that being said, A.M.A.Z.O. did start to grow on me after a while... I think what I most liked about him is that, for all his power, he was, in many ways, just like a lost child - confused, & uncertain of his place in the universe... The conversation between him & Luthor about finding his own purpose was a great standout moment in the series.
(Course, Justice League: Unlimited was just an awesome series all round.
)
